Backlist and unblacklist a contact manually

2. Blacklist a contact manually
3. Unblocking a contact manually

1. Introduction

A blacklisted contact is a contact that has been excluded from your emailings. Arenametrix Routing automatically blacklists a contact if :

the contact has unsubscribed from your emails,
the contact has classified your emails as SPAM,
an email sent to the contact was reported as hard bounce.

You can also manually blacklist your contacts or import a list of contacts into your blacklist.

2. Blacklist a contact manually

To add one or more contacts to your blacklist, go to the Contacts page of your Arenametrix Routing account. Identify the contact(s) you wish to blacklist and check the box to the left of each of them.

When all desired contacts are selected, click Action to display the drop-down menu and then click Add to Blacklist. A window will appear asking you to confirm this action.

From now on, blacklisted contacts will no longer receive your emailing campaigns.

3. Unmask a contact manually

Unpacking a contact is possible with Arenametrix Routing. This process is illegal if the person has requested to be removed from your database. If you re-insert the contact against their will, you are violating the law.
Outside of this framework, here is the procedure: You just have to re-edit the contact form by clicking on "Unmask" on your contact form.
